DIRECTORATE OF FIRST PARLIAMENTARY COUNSEL

The Directorate drafts, monitors through Parliament, and oversees the publication of several Bills and Acts of Parliament. In addition, numerous pieces of subsidiary legislation are drafted and published. The Directorate is responsible for verifying Ordinances of District Councils, statutory interrpretation, advising on parliamentary procedure and other legal issues.
